Former cricketer Azaz Cheema is likely to be appointed as the head coach of Pakistan Shaheens
Pakistan Shaheens will travel to Zimbabwe from May 3 to May
27 under the direction of Imran Butt.

(06 April 2023) There is a strong possibility that former national cricket team
cricketer Aizaz Cheema will be appointed as the head coach of Pakistan Shaheens
for the tour of Zimbabwe. The charge was entrusted to Abdul Rehman, but due to
the delayed arrival of the foreign coaching staff of the national team, he was
entrusted with the responsibilities of the training camp in the national camp
starting from April 7.
Rahman
will assume the responsibilities of the camp's assistant coach following the
arrival of head coach Grant Bradburn. On the other hand, the team manager for
Pakistan Shaheens will be announced soon, with Saboor Ahmed as the
trainer and Muhammad Asad as the physiotherapist of the Shaheens squad. Captain
Imran Butt, Hussain Talat Vice-Captain, Aamir Jamal, Abdul Wahid Banglazai, Haseeb
Ullah, Kamran Ghulam, Mehran Mumtaz, Mir Hamza, Muhammad Harira, Mubasher Khan,
Muhammad Umar, Umeer bin Yousuf, Qasim Akram, Rohail Nazir (wicket) Keeper),
Sahibzada Farhan, Shahnawaz Dhani, Asif Mehmood, Athar Mehmood, Saad Khan, and
Waqar Ahmed are included.
