Regarding the attack of the Israeli
security forces on Al-Aqsa Mosque, the emergency meeting of the OIC will be

Jeddah (07 April 2023) Palestine has said in response to the Israeli attack on the
Al-Aqsa Mosque that it is not enough to condemn Israel, but sanctions should be
imposed on it. On the other hand, the Israeli attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque. An
emergency and open meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of
Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the delegation level will be held on Saturday
(April 8) to discuss
According to the Saudi news agency, the
Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that, like every other time, it
will not be enough for many countries to condemn Israel in the Security
Council. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a tweet that this time
sanctions should be imposed on Israel as a terrorist, rebellious occupier, and
tyrannical state.
Along with this request of the Palestinian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has
announced to convene an emergency and open meeting of the Executive Committee
at the level of delegations on Saturday, April 8, to discuss the Israeli
attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
This emergency meeting has been called by
the State of Palestine and Jordan. The OIC has said that the organization's
Secretary General Hussain Ibrahim Taha is expected to address the meeting and
highlight the dangerous developments regarding the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the
Palestinians.
